Wedding Venue Tips

There are a lot of things to consider when choosing your wedding venue. The first and most important thing before choosing your location is your guest list, you have to make sure that your venue is enough to accommodate your guests. Visiting the venue in person is very important rather than just looking in pictures or brochures, they can be deceptive. Another important point to think about is the food you plan to serve at your wedding. You have to inquire if the hall provides its own catering services, or do you have to outsource to a restaurant or local caterer.

Early reservation for the venue is important. Popular catering and banquet halls, country clubs and restaurants can often be reserved in advance. So you have to call them first to see if they have availability in and around the time you’re planning for your wedding. Lastly, don't forget the parking lot for your guests. Make sure you check out parking availability, shuttle services, whether or not there are valets or attendants, and if, and how much the venue will charge for using their parking facilities.
